Warehouse Computer Technician Wanted in Sydney

One of our valuable client companies in Sydney is in search of a talented, inspired and energetic Warehouse Computer Technician (Hardware and Software) to join their organization!

This client company internationally provides the total logistics services to nearly 1,000 customers in such various industries as electronics, machinery, chemicals, oil refining and construction with around 43 branches globally and its head office in Korea.

Requirements

  • * Installing hardware and software requirements for a leading supplier in the finance sector, before they are dispatched to the end users
  • * Following customer SOP’s for hardware and software configuration (PCs, servers and routers), testing, repairs etc
  • * Ensuring supply chain management – receipt of stock, inspection and storage, stock takes, order receiving, picking, packing, dispatch and inventory management update
  • * Arranging transport to meet customer delivery time requirements
  • * Undertaking SCM activities to meet relevant operational procedures, regulation and maintenance of facilities and cost analysis and internal reports preparation
  • * Ensuring smooth operation and preparing internal reports of inventory etc. to management and external customers
  • * Customer care and excellent communication and use system to respond within agreed timeframe
  • * Undertaking other ad hoc duties as required
  • * Willing to learn and further enhance your skills in hardware/software in a 3PL environment
  • For this role, you will have:
  • * A variety of technical aspects both in hardware and software (PCs, servers, routers etc) and related skills and experiences (Tools provided)
  • * Ability to multi task and juggle between multiple projects
  • * A minimum of one year relevant experience in hardware/software handling, data management, customer services or administration role in logistics
  • * Inventory management skills and picking/packing (using devices such as PDA) experiences
  • * Well-presented email communication, fast and accurate responding skills
  • * Native or high proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • * Strong MS Excel, Word, Outlook skills
  • * A proactive “can-do” attitude, problem-solving abilities and excellent customer care
  • * Work with our growing team in Newington industrial area, Sydney.

Remuneration:

  • Full Time Position (8:30 – 5:00 Monday to Friday)
  • A$60K – $6.5K Plus Superannuation
